TERRITÓRIOS OCUPADOS
"Occupied Territories" tells the story of the Caramulo mountains' residents, describing life after the State's violent occupation and forestation in 1941. It explores the impact on the community—misery, emigration, ruptures—while emphasizing their resistance to expropriation and recalling a time when collective perceptions shaped their territories.
Captured using a miniDV video camera, the conforming and grading process was meticulously executed to maintain the essence of the original media while enhancing its overall quality. This involved enhancing perceived resolution, refining texture, and optimizing color rendition, resulting in a final product that retains the authenticity of the original footage while elevating its visual appeal.
